The South Downs Harness Club (SDHC) was formed in 1978 to:
• Encourage the driving of horses and ponies as a sport and recreation
• Promote good friendship amongst members
• Improve and maintain the standard of driving and horsemanship

| Events Our events are held mainly in Hampshire and West Sussex and include both competitive and non-competitive activities. In 2011, the Club held 25 events including two one-day-events, two shows, a trec, an inside-out, lots of social drives, a summer camp, training and social events.
