Five turnouts enjoyed a lovely drive organised by Don and Helen Baldwin. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day which was most welcome.
The route was approximately 6 miles along country lanes around the village of North Mundham.
Tabe Annema led the drive with our pair of Friesians guided by our host Helen Baldwin. Following us were Sarah Cockram, Ian and Amanda Bazley, Josie Wood and Jimmy Chatfield bringing up the rear.
The original route was changed slightly due to some residual flood water. All agreed that the pace was perfect with a few walking sections for the horses to catch their breath.
After taking care of the horses, we were all invited into Don and Helen’s home to enjoy delicious homemade soup and cake where we were joined by a few more members.
Many thanks to Don and Helen and to Louise Nicholson for stewarding.
